It's like a ghost town around here, as all of the Dutchies have left for their summer vacation retreats. This is a typical European activity which never ceases to amaze me. Not a soul for miles (I mean kilometers) around, few cars on the highway, and amazingly quiet wherever you go. More than half of the stores are closed for the month of August. In two days I will be joining the rest of the folks as I pull my tent caravan behind me on our way to Camping Le Port de Lacombe. Off we go, so I will not be blogging for some time now!
